- If the customer does not contact the customer support department to request a voluntary service suspension while the service is not being used and expires, they will be responsible for paying an upfront monthly recurring cost.
8. Payment Guidelines

No monetary or lost hours compensation will be given in the event of planned or unforeseen maintenance or outages lasting fewer than 24 hours. However, if a scheduled or unexpected outage lasts longer than 24 hours at a time, the customer will be compensated for the missed days.
- Lost days due to technical issues or device failure will be handled on a case-by-case basis, with compensation computed from the time the complaint was reported to Direct Broadband contact center to the time the complaint was rectified.
